Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential delinquency risks
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance (FCRA, BSA) and industry best practices
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and clients
- Utilize advanced financial modeling tools to forecast repayment scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expert proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and collateral valuation
- CFP, CFA, or CRCM certification preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of meeting portfolio performance targets
