As a Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. We value accuracy, ethical judgment, and proactive risk management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Monitor changes in local, state, and federal regulations to ensure business practices remain current.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff and management.
- Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Investigate internal policy violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and external auditors to facilitate external reviews.
- Maintain and update the company's compliance manual and policy documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or a related regulatory role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards (e.g., SEC, FINRA, state-specific laws).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Certification such as CFE, CCE, or CRCM is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
