Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise senior management on necessary adjustments to business practices.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and disciplinary matters in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies and internal governance committees.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related topics and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with legal, internal audit, and human resources departments to foster a culture of compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs role.
- Deep understanding of federal regulations applicable to the [Specific Industry, e.g., Financial Services/Healthcare] sector.
- Strong knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
