Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal/state regulations (FFIEC, BSA, AML) to ensure organizational compliance
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits across banking operations
- Develop/update compliance policies and procedures for new products/services
- Train staff on regulatory requirements and ethical standards
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Liaise with examiners during regulatory audits and examinations
- Implement compliance monitoring systems and reporting mechanisms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years compliance experience in financial services
- Relevant certifications (CRCM, CAMS, CCEP) strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of banking regulations and Louisiana state laws
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in compliance software (e.g., Wolters Kluwer, Moody's Analytics)
