Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of compliance policies to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential operational vulnerabilities.
- Monitor regulatory updates and interpret their impact on the organization, providing timely briefings to leadership.
- Lead investigations into potential policy violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate legal risks.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure contracts and agreements comply with all applicable laws.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance standards, ethical conduct, and reporting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Certification as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or similar is a plus.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, including SOX, AML, and KYC protocols.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex regulations into actionable business insights.
