Responsibilities
- Regulatory Oversight: Monitor and ensure strict adherence to BSA/AML regulations, OCC, FDIC, and other applicable banking laws.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our processes.
- Policy Management: Develop, update, and implement corporate compliance policies and procedures to reflect changing regulations.
- Investigations: Investigate discrepancies, internal control failures, and suspicious activities with precision and confidentiality.
- Training & Education: Design and deliver training programs to ensure all staff members understand compliance standards and regulatory changes.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies regarding compliance status and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management within the financial services sector.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking regulations, financial controls, and the regulatory environment.
- Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
