Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and resolve account inquiries with a professional demeanor.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining bank products and services.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) terminal and handle cash handling duties with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to meet branch sales goals.
- Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred but not required (training provided).
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software.
