Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough internal audits to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor changes in legislation and update company policies accordingly.
- Develop and implement effective compliance programs and training materials.
- Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal management and external auditors.
- Coordinate with legal counsel to interpret complex regulations.
- Ensure all business operations adhere to industry-specific standards (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, FINRA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to non-technical staff.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification such as CCEP, CFCP, or a JD/Law degree is a plus.
