Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies in alignment with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards, providing timely updates to the executive team.
- Prepare and submit detailed compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Train employees on compliance standards, ethical conduct, and reporting procedures.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations or employee concerns in a fair and objective manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all compliance activities and training records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certification such as CCO, CFE, or CPA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or a related legal/financial role.
- Strong understanding of Arizona state laws and federal regulations (e.g., ADA, HIPAA, SEC).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and regulations.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
