Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Develop, maintain, and update internal compliance manuals, standard operating procedures, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Investigate discrepancies, non-compliance issues, and potential fraud to mitigate organizational and reputational risk.
- Train staff on regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and ethical business practices through workshops and documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to prepare for and facilitate official inspections and reviews.
- Monitor changes in local, state, and federal laws to ensure the organization remains compliant and agile.
- Report compliance status and risk findings directly to senior management and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing detailed reports and conducting training sessions.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and identify potential compliance risks.
- Certification such as CCEP, CFE, CSP, or equivalent is highly preferred.
