Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal compliance policies aligned with federal/state regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and audit financial operations for regulatory adherence
- Train staff on compliance protocols and new regulatory updates
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with corrective action plans
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with evolving healthcare and financial industry regulations
- Collaborate with legal and audit teams to ensure continuous compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of compliance experience in healthcare or financial services
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation required
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA, SOX, and CA state regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with compliance software (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
