Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs aligned with federal regulations (FinCEN, OFAC, SEC) and industry standards
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Prepare regulatory filings and documentation for state/federal agencies
- Train employees on compliance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams on regulatory changes
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations
- Maintain compliance documentation and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or related field; MBA or JD preferred
- 5+ years compliance experience in financial services or fintech
- Deep knowledge of CA state and federal regulatory frameworks
- Certifications (CRCM, CAMS, or CCEP) strongly preferred
- Proficiency with compliance management software (e.g., LogicGate, ComplySci)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
