Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations monthly to maintain accurate financial records.
- Process payroll using our preferred accounting software, ensuring all deductions and taxes are calculated correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports for multiple clients.
- Maintain and organize the general ledger and fixed asset schedules.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns as required by state regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
