Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Process weekly payroll accurately for multiple clients using payroll software.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and tax preparation support.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve discrepancies and answer financial inquiries.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records for long-term storage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace if working remotely.
