Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure all tax filings are completed timely.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial inquiries and account status.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
