Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage time-off requests for staff members.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and expense reporting.
- Assist the Controller with year-end audit preparations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines consistently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
