Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Records: Accurately record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and ensure all timecards and deductions are calculated correctly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Invoice Management: Process invoices, track payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Excel Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
