Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax packages in coordination with external auditors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Valid California driver's license is a plus.
