Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process weekly payroll accurately and ensure all tax filings are up to date.
- Prepare and send monthly invoices to clients and collect outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and year-end tax packages.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist in budget planning and expense tracking for various departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
