In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that our books are up-to-date and accurate. You will work closely with our management team to provide insights that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and handle collections.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain and organize financial records and filing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax preparation.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
