Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping operations, including A/R and A/P, specifically for weekend transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and process payroll for weekend staff.
- Generate financial reports and maintain general ledger records.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and filing.
- Ensure all financial data is entered accurately into accounting software.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax laws.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on weekends.
