Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax preparation.
- Ensure all financial records are up to date and compliant with California state laws.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
