Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision and timeliness
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and monthly reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
