Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (CA/Federal)
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors and tax professionals
- Implement process improvements for financial operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- CPA or certification (e.g., CB) strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of CA sales/use tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
