Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions within weekly deadlines
- Generate financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash position reporting
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data security
- Assist with audits and provide documentation for financial reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and California tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven ability to meet weekly deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
