Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation processes.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
