Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero software
- Process weekly payroll and VAT submissions with strict deadlines
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports for clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and invoice processing
- Assist with quarterly tax returns and year-end accounts
- Liaise with HMRC and external auditors as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping (minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Xero software
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent accounting qualification
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Relevant degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
