Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process payroll and ensure timely weekly payments
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and VAT submissions
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements
- Generate monthly reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper (3+ years)
- Xero/QuickBooks certification preferred
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and time management skills
