Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and general ledger accounts with 100% accuracy.
- Process high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions weekly.
- Prepare and post weekly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, to management.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local compliance documents.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all financial documents and receipts.
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and optimize workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) required.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to detect errors before they impact the ledger.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred.
