Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, with high accuracy.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process payroll for weekend staff and contractors ensuring timely and error-free disbursements.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, balance sheets, and general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax packages for clients.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure cash flow.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain organized digital records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend hours.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
