Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Accurately reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts for the weekend period.
- Accounts Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all invoices are paid and recorded on time.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger and post journal entries as required.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll for the weekend operational team.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero, and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
