Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
- Process payroll for the weekend team and ensure all tax filings are up to date.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review on a weekly basis.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and financial audits.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
