Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with weekend deadline adherence
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts bi-weekly
- Prepare financial reports including profit/loss statements and balance sheets
- Manage payroll processing for weekend staff using QuickBooks Online
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documents
- Provide timely financial updates to senior accountants
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 8am-5pm)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and formula expertise
- Detail-oriented with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
