Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting software
- Process payroll and reconcile bank statements weekly
- Prepare financial reports and statements for executive review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor communications
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support tax preparation documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 8am-5pm)
- Knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
