Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions over weekends
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records bi-weekly
- Prepare weekend payroll runs and employee expense reports
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain digital filing systems with audit-ready documentation
- Support month-end accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience with weekend/holiday availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and MS Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and VAT regulations
- Attention to detail with proven numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Relevant accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA preferred)
