Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring timely collections from clients.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized financial records, receipts, and documentation for audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and process expense reports efficiently.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with tax preparation and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP or similar) is a plus.
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Must possess exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
