Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Process payroll entries and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Assist external auditors with requested documentation and data.
- Organize and archive financial documents and records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
