Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Process invoices and handle expense reports efficiently.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
