Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll transactions accurately and on time.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparations.
- Organize and maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist the senior accountant with month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
