Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and audits.
- Perform data entry and maintenance of fixed asset registers.
- Communicate effectively with the finance team during overlapping hours to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or similar).
