Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure tax filings are submitted on time.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate fixed asset records.
- Provide monthly reports to management to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
