Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets).
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external auditors.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform periodic stock counts.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close process.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
