Job Summary
As our Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions. You will work closely with clients to ensure their financial health is managed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and tax reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Maintain and organize financial documents and digital records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients professionally.
