Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and tax preparation support.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Monitor financial systems and software (QuickBooks/Xero) for updates and improvements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
