Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable operations with precision and efficiency.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and budget reports.
- Maintain and organize an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial records.
- Support the accounting manager during year-end audits and tax preparations.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses and update ledgers in real-time.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (experience with NetSuite is a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and team interaction.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
