Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all tax filings and compliance requirements are met.
- Reconcile vendor statements and manage expense reports efficiently.
- Collaborate with accountants and clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP preferred).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPAs are a plus.
