Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.
- Maintain the general ledger using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Handle tax document preparation and filing support as required.
- Perform internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
