Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure tax filings are up to date.
- Assist with year-end audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Utilize QuickBooks or Xero to manage transaction entries and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
