Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, issue payments, and collect debts in a timely manner.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare bank statements to internal ledgers to ensure discrepancies are resolved immediately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
