Responsibilities
- Process Invoices: Accurately and timely process high-volume invoices, verifying coding, approvals, and accuracy before posting.
- Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies and maintaining a positive vendor relationship.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledgers to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly AP reports and support the month-end close process.
- System Management: Maintain and update the AP system, ensuring data integrity and proper document storage.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with company policies and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and manage complex data sets with precision.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
